Unicorn Vomit Sunset
The sunset this Christmas was breathtaking. My friend said it looked like unicorn vomit, the perfect mix of pastels. There is a mix of purple, pink, dark blue, neon blue, some yellow, and the moon is present. Big palm trees tower over while I drink eggnog and Kahlua cocktails, beer, and wine. I got some stompies slippers, and was so excited, I hopped around the house while my aunt cooked the bomb-est dinner ever. They were out of the unicorns, but I will find them. Christmas was chill and fun.

You will be mine, oh yes…….you will be mine.
This little fuzzy lilac phone was meant to be mine. While I was having Christmas morning mimosas, I received a text message from a friend saying I found a perfect phone for you. Love at first sight, Kinda have a glamorous lilac addiction. So at work today I was trying to find out the stores name so I could put it on hold. Long story short I got it…….best surprise ever. Kinda fabulous, sorta gaudy, but absolutely addicting and adorable. Going to make a perfect spot on my vanity for it.

Bake A Cake Worth Every Calorie
I found this recipe years ago in a Glamour magazine I think. It is so damn good, its the best dark chocolate cake ever, and super moist and crumbly at the same time. Diane Von Furstenberg has been serving this cakensince the 1970s, and Andy Warhol even mentions it in his diaries. This recipe makes a 9′ round cake.

- 2 sticks of Unsalted Butter at room temperature
- 4 bars(3 1/2 ounces each) of Lindt bittersweet chocolate, broken up
- 3 whole eggs
- 3 egg yoks
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Butter a 9′ springform pan.
- But butter and chocolate in a heat safe bowl, and place in a pan of hot water, cook over medium heat, and stir until melted. Remove the bowl and set aside.
- In another bowl beat eggs, and yokes until frothy. At medium speed, beat in sugar until creamy. Beat in flour.
- Fold flour mixture into the chocolate mixture with a rubber spatula until blended. Spread into buttered pan.
- Bake cake util the center is set, about 40 minutes.
- Let cool and top with berries.
I love to heat things up in the kitchen
Today my boyfriend had band practice so I cooked all day! I put on some old rockabilly tunes, poured some red wine, and started my pasta sauce. I had a friend over, drank more wine, and took some photos. Then I started making my chocolate cake, and had an amazing dinner ready for my baby when he got home. I love cooking, especially in heels!

Royal Glitz

Today my look is Royal Glitz glam. I am wearing my jacquard jacket with my favorite vintage inspired creamy lace slip dress,Rodarte for Target. My accessories include a vintage cameo necklace, gold claw ring, a Chanel Owl chain lapel pin, chunky rose gold metallic Jeffrey Campbell wedges, and a gold chain wrapped around a high bun. For my makeup I made my skin very dewy with light pink shimmer on my cheeks. I put on minimal eye makeup with a dark wine colored full lip. I applied gold glitter(above and under the eye)and a tarnished gold bindi for a royal princess look.

I think You’re Hep
I am getting back into my pinup girl look I rocked for so many years. I was over it for a while but obsessed all over again, especially because I have access to so many cute vintage pieces at work. I love the way this pink polka dot halter dress fits. I am wearing it with really high black patent stilettos, heart sunnies, and my handmade adventure time purse. Dig it babe.
