Shes in Movies

 

I spent my day off relaxing in bed, drinking tea, eating freshly baked scones,and watching movies. Between movies I play loud music, dress up, and go on adventures at my lake. I watched Lolita, Suspiria, and Disney’s Robin Hood, then Dangerous Liaisons.  I can spend my life in bed watching movies.

I scored some beautiful vintage costume Chanel jewelry at work today. I love the lapel chains, and pearl choker. I am all about black and gold right now, so I had to get the spiked handbag.

Living Doll

 

I woke up with no clue on what to be for Halloween, so I decided to be a living doll. I was reading a Manga tale about girls being made into dolls, with their souls sewn and trapped inside. They are alive, and aware, but can not speak or move forever. So that was the look I was going for, lol. Happy Halloween.

Pumpkin Carving

 

Pumpkin carving is traditional to me and my Eternal Love. This is our eleventh Halloween together and we always spend a night carving pumpkins, drinking, and rocking out to misfits……Metal. This  time we hung out in the garage, had beers, put on some YES Records, and went to town on some pumpkins. Pulling the guts out was always my favorite part. I made the pinhead from Hellraiser pumpkin, while Giancarlo knocked out a puking pumpkin, and that cute little one on the left. We were super proud and put them out front 🙂

Pumpkin Patch Love, Candy & Coffee

My boyfriend spoils me so much, especially on my favorite, Hallows Eve. First breakfast at the french cafe with endless coffee, then to buy candy for the kids. Then we made delicious Belgium hot chocolates with chocolate whipped cream. Next a trip to the pumpkin patch to pet some goats, and pigs, oh…and buy pumpkins to carve tonight. I was feeling a bit mermaidy today. Then horror movies in bed with tea, and my cat.

 

Nap. Then putting candy out for the trick or treaters tomorrow. I love Halloween.

 

Cap’N Crunch Shakes

I used the above recipe, but used sugar free vanilla ice cream, and did not use any sweeteners, or the vanilla extract.

Halloween Girl

Halloween is my favorite holiday(runs in the family), so I celebrate the entire month of October. My mom is an  amazing seamstress/costume designer, and she always made a big deal around Halloween. We had the best costumes, me and my brothers, stitched and handmade to perfection. We were poop as hell but my mom always made it work, you can’t buy talent.We would all decorate, sit around and watch horror films. So many Horror films, especially the campy B ones. I loved Freaks! Halloween decor would stay up through December, and some would make it all year. We were different, raised to be creative. Our favorite shows were Twilight Zone, Tales from the Crypt, Elvira show, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and goosebumps even! My mom got me into David Lynch, and John Waters films very young! It might have something to do with why I am such a weirdo. So I took after her in a way, I make the absolute most out of October,  dress as crazy as I can, and make a bunch of cool Halloween stuff.

Halloween thus far: A trip to the Whaley House, partying with Beetlejuice, wearing my favorite lace and sequins bone blouse I made, dancing with the dead in skeleton tights and stripper heels, lacing my hair with skeletons, and decorating my lashes with big black feathers for my wicca goth costume. Birthday Awarness

Another year went by way too fast. The older you get the wiser you get, now I truly understand. Every year you learn from your mistakes, and how to cope with tragedy, and disappointment. Life gets harder, and you grow stronger one tear at a time. You get a big self realization and really pay attention to who your friends are.You grow tired easy of bad company. You give your attention to those who deserve it, the ones who you might neglect because they are always there for you. Love them, spend time with them, and do not ever let them go. It gets easier to cut people out of your life that are fake, negative, using,energy suckers. Or people who just don’t deserve your light. As your life gets shorter you want to make every precious second count. Fill those days with happiness, fun, laughter, creativity, and positiveness. Help others in need and it will bring you so much satisfaction. Spread love not hate and live your life beautiful, and healthy. Eat only the best food you can, and travel as much as possible. Open up your mind to the world and discover new things.

As we age we become more fine tuned, and perfect ourselves. Our tastes grow stronger, and we give a fuck about what others think less. I believe you are never too old to wear what you want as long as you take care of yourself. Below is one of the most inspiring things I have seen in a long time. Makes me less scared of growing old.
