I love this run down deserted pink house I saw while walking the streets of Sao Paulo. Im playing make believe I live there.“I believe when life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade…and try to find someone whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.” – Ron White

Going to Brasil
My heart is in Brasil. Once again jet set for Sao Paulo to visit family and friends. I packed light this year, a few dresses, swimsuits, leggings, cut off shorts, beanies, heart sunnies, 80s wayfarers, and a handful of band shirts. My look for this year is grungy rocker meets bohemian sun goddess, very laid back.

Toasted Coconut Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches
These are super yummy! First you toast the sweetened shredded coconut in the oven, toaster oven, or in a frying pan. Then set aside. Then fill your coconut cookie thins(Trader Joes) with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy, easy, impressive, and addictive. Ice cream sandwiches have endless flavor possibilities with cookies, ice creams, and outside decor.

Happiest New Year

On new years eve, after my pj brunch, my boyfriend picked me up and we celebrated our 11th new years kiss together sipping cocktails by the fireplace with friends.

When we are not celebrating New Years Day in Brasil, we always celebrate with a boozie breakfast at Good Time Charlies, in Pacific Beach. The sunshine and our bill says it all, Charlies patio is the best, you can really get comfortable and be yourself, feels like a vacation. Then we did our traditional Brasilian wave jumping in all white, and making magical wishes over each one. Now to watch some reality tv, and take a nap by the fireplace.
Post nap luxury. I made us some frozen pineapple, strawberry, bellinis, and garlic bruschetta toasts. Then more movies my the fireplace, followed by gourmet burgers, and toasted coconut ice cream sandwiches.

Sexy pajama new years eve brunch

I make it look easy, cause it is to me. I love my friend Erika, my sexy hairdresser, fashion queen, and kindred spirit. We threw together this little pretty little brunch filled with sangria, mimosas, cream puffs, berries, and mini quiches. We are obsessed with Le Delice De Bourgone French soft ripened cheese. We topped it with Goiabada(guave)paste. We hung out in our pjs, and vintage lingerie, did our makeup, while she touched up my roots. First thing in the morning she handed me a huge homemade tropical sangria in the cutest vintage glass, with a silver steel straw. I died, and it was so good, she used tequila, mangoes, pineapples, rose wine, and agave. I am so lucky to end the new year this way, all day drinking, and snaking glamorously with my boozie berry bestie.

da pho-k
PHO is one of my favorite dishes, such a comfort food. Whats not to love about cozying up to a hot steaming bowl of noodles topped with veggies, herbs, and lime juice. I love love soda chanh, I have them all the time. It is easy to make and can be healthy if you substitute truvia, or agave for the sugar. Heres what you do. Squeeze lime juice into a tall glass and mix in your sweetener. Stir to combine well. Drop a lime slice or two into the glass. Add some ice cubes. Top with the soda. Stir and drink. Adjust the sweetness and tartness as you go. Plain and simple. I use Perrier, my favorite.
This post sucks

no it rules! I have a Beavis and Butt-Head obsession. It was my favorite show as a teenager, the stupid humor still gets me. My favorite characters are Todd, and the hippy teacher. Anyways I totally scored this book at work today in a trade. Stoked, and inspired! I am making some more B & B flats, as well as a couture leather-denim jacket to honor this bad ass show. I’m going to use the tattoo flash above to decorate the jacket.
