A tale of two cuties

 I am obsessed with my cozy cashmere knitted beanie. One of my customers, and friend, from work, made this amazing hat for me to mach my new hair! She hand knits and  re-purposes cashmere sweaters into warm cozy beautiful beanies and scarfs. I just love it, and even more because she attaches the cutest tag to it. The last two days I have been feeling really creative and making tons of bad ass stuff. I made a bunch of hand dyed denim cut off shorts and vests, hand painted them, studded them, and added some patches. I love the Alien Babe ones! I also made another badass shoe with MOD PODGE! I used some Steve Madden Platforms and rainbow glitter for these babies. I adore them. I finished my Adventure Time Fin purse, its made from sequins, leather, and glitter. Last I made more necklaces with my favorite things. I drank mass amounts of coffee and knocked out a bunch of cute stuff. I love making clothes!Meow

All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I’m fine.

Every now and then my style shifts, and a little california beach bum creeps out of me. Probably because I am dating a surfer, and obsessed with the beach, and the surf stereotypes portrayed in the 80s movies. Think David Lee Roth, Spicoli!!!!, Beach Party,Bodyglove Ads,  the NEON, the reflective wayfarers, and the sexy wavy salty beach hair. Young and dumb, stoned with lots of beer. Beach lingo itself is so cool. Gnarly,dude, rad, and stoked are daily words of mine, along with a ton of eeeef bombs. Anyways, with my hair pastel, It really works with the inner layed back surf style I have. With a twist of Mermaid.

So I pretty much beach bummed it all day in my pastel baja style hoodie, and favorite oversized 80s beach party sunglasses. I adore my CRAP sunnies. I wore some really light supper ripped jeans and fluffy UGGs. I drank tons of hot coffee, above is me on my second run, and a stop to Walgreens to buy pink and purple Christmas lights. I love them, how cute are they? All I could think about was going home to hang them.

Blondie does High Times

Blondie on the cover of High Times in the summer of 77. The Marilyn Monroe of Punk Rock, perfect. I love the leather bra and gold safety pin jewelry, simply sexy. I am obsessed with this and want to do a painting right away. Debbie Harry is one of the most beautiful, stylish, and bad ass chicks to walk the planet. She has that It quality and I love watching her sing. Anyways, I am starting a canvas tomorrow night, I have a vision.

Tiki Pop

I found the cutest little lilac vintage Hawaiian dress at work. I wanted to wear it retro pin up, Trader Vic’s style. My style is heavily influinced by Tiki Pin Up Girls. The lounge music, sexy pin up bombshells, cocktails, fancy mixed drinks, pool parties, cabanas, tropical food, and swimwear. So sexy. I plan to have a little white trash tiki party with spa style food. When I can afford, I will have my very own tiki bar and cabana, poolside! And instead of a lounge stage we will have a shredding guitar one! I wish I could just lay poolside and sip cocktails all day and pretend I’m a movie actress with perfect sunglasses. Classic lounge music playing, Bossa Nova, all  while I read magazines, dance, sing, and get buzzed and prepare mini food dishes. My dream.

Fruit makes you Glow

 

I love Fresh fruits for breakfast, especially honey yogurt on papaya! It’s also fun to eat new kinds like dragon fruit. So sexy and colorful. Fruit is so yummy, full of fiber, digestive enzymes, vitamins, and it does wonders for your complexion. A healthy Glow. A perfect way to start your day, along with tea or coffee.

Getting Dirty

I have to be the luckiest girl. I have a sexy hairdresser friend who makes me dirty martinis while she does my hair. And we have too much in common.  She also gave me an acne cleansing face mask! Then I did our makeup, dolled us up,Love.
