Green Skinny Sangria

Refreshing,  pretty, and not so bad for you! This sparkling white wine sangria is a perfect summer cocktail.

  1. 1 bottle of pinot grigio or any white wine of your choice
  2. fresh squeezed lime juice(about 1/4th of a cup)
  3. agave nectar or truvia sugar substitute
  4. 2 limes sliced
  5. 1 cucumber rinsed & sliced
  6. 2 green apples, 1 cored and sliced, 1 diced and reserved for garnish
  7. a big handful of fresh green grapes rinsed
  8. a handful of fresh mint rinsed
  9. 1 large bottle of sparkling water(i use lime flavored Perrier water)
  10. ice

Pour the lime juice and sugar, or agave nectar, and wine in a large pitcher and mix well. Mix in sweetener to your liking. now add number 4 thru 8 to the pitcher and stir. let sit in the fridge for a few hours or until ready to serve. Now add the sparkling water and mix. Put some ice in the pitcher as well, when it melts in it only enhances the flavor. Now get wine glasses fill them with ice, top with your sangria, and the reserved diced apple.Throw in a lemon and cucumber slice and a few grapes as well. Enjoy
